Same goes for Sir Nicholas Winton, who passed away quite recently. I'm not sure if he won the Nobel prize or not though, or if he was even nominated. I remember some students from my school making a petition to nominate him, which I obviously signed, but I don't think a lot of people were interested, unfortunately.

Kindles are an incredible invention though. The fact that some extremist book lovers went so far as to use "the smell of books is better" as an argument since each and every one of their other arguments against Kindles can be easily countered proves it.

What a sad and bigoted individual you must be if you actually believe this.
Look, I'm all for equality and I acknowledge that things such as rape and domestic violence happening to men is just as serious an issue as when it happens to women, but this post is pure bullshit. Nobody sane would ever say a woman is brave for hitting a man, and things like suddenly kissing someone, accidentally walking into a bathroom or staring are not even real issues. As far as splitting the bill or doing some work is concerned, only the biggest bitches would expect a man to do it just because he's a man. I personally always pay for my own stuff and ask for help only when the work is really hard, such as carrying really heavy stuff, and en revanche I always help when I can.
I really don't know in what sort of bitchy environment you live that you have such a negative opinion about women, but I assure you, most women are the normal, non-psycho kind.

The attitude that worships meaningless rules is exactly what's making kids hate school. Personally, I love learning new things, I really do. However, if the method of learning is to sit in a classroom hungry, needing to go to the toilet and uncomfortable (honestly school chairs and desks suck), then I'm subconsciously going to associate school with these bad feelings. My former classmate moved and so she obviously had to change schools, and their method of teaching is awesome. The students need to do a lot more work, however the attitude could be described as "as long as you do all the work, we don't care if you even go to school", rather than "even if the schedule consisted of PE and music, you must be here every day".

Some teachers take long just because they're lazy shits though. Even when the whole class has written the test they still take months to grade it.

This is totally from "I said bitch" by Key&Peele though. Still funny, but let's give credit where it's due, cause these guys are hilarious.

I'm an atheist but I know a bit of history, so I know that in the beginnings of Christianity, the Trinity was a thing. Mormonism is a pretty new religion so obviously there are a few things that are different.

Am I the only one here who actually agrees with the post? The thing is, there are people who are transsexual. Their brains think they're another gender. However, there's a lot fewer of them than tumblr thinks. Why? Because they label themselves as transgender for the silliest reasons. In my opinion, if you're a guy who likes housework, shopping, and makeup, then you're a guy who likes housework, shopping, and makeup, not a "genderfluid specialsnowflake-kin". The problem is, people think that in order to fit the gender roles which have absolutely no use in today's society, they need to be another gender. Making up new genders is a horrible solution to this problem. Why don't we get rid of gender roles altogether? Why don't we admit that the differences in our physiology have little to no effect on us achieving our goals anymore?

If you're European, it probably seems like that to you as your school curriculum focuses on Europe, specifically your own country, more than the rest of the world. If you're American, you have very little history, so you borrow Europe's as it's the country of your ancestors (unless you're a Native American). I'd say Asian kids focus mostly on Asian history, but I have no experience to further prove this.

I don't believe in God but I really like Pope Francis. Unlike the bigoted bible-thumping people like that Hans guy, the Pope inspires love and charity towards anyone and everyone. That's how it should be, not stoning the gays because of one canticle from a book that's thousands of years old and clearly outdated.
