That sucks. This system, along with rewarding people for absolutely menial tasks which is a thing that keeps getting more and more popular nowadays, is what makes special needs people struggle and talented people gravitate towards mediocrity.

Aren't there special schools already? I think there totally are schools for special kids, at least in my country. I even had a classmate in first class of elementary school who got moved to a special school. He was a nice kid, just very, very slow.
Then even I got moved to a "special" school, but a different kind of special, meaning an elite school. I think that sorting kids by their abilities so that some kids can learn faster and some can take their time without feeling pressurized is a good thing no matter what some people say.

I feel exactly the same.
However, the ability to mimic emotions and match energies is a good step towards manipulation, which we, as emotionally empty human beings, don't even feel bad about! Yay!

Yeah, that's what I meant. Welp, we all struggle with laziness.

Well Neil Patrick Harris and his husband have a pretty neat system with their child - one is daddy and one is papa. Maybe a similar thing could be applied for two mothers.

I think he had to get a bit more tanned though, he's normally quite pale and I can see how someone can confuse him with a white person. That of course doesn't change the fact that he's absolutely awesome and that I really need to start watching Mr. Robot.

Yeah but they said hair is more dense when wet. And hair is more shiny when wet, too, I think. Maybe it's just my misunderstanding their point, but I thought that they meant that hair is shinier when wet, which in my opinion is, you know more slick and stuff.
Edit: I think that this may also be why when you make a ponytail or bob or whatever, the top of your head is kinda shinier than normally, because the hair is more dense there. I suppose it depends upon what kind of hair you have, someone's hair is nice and shiny without effort, but that's how I see my own hair.

Oh how I wish they made the MasterCarp Magicarp. That would've made the joke so much better in my opinion, unless it is already a reference to something I'm unaware of.

Regarding the Santa thing, maybe he visits kids in an alphabetical order.
Or maybe he's not real.

Same goes for Sir Nicholas Winton, who passed away quite recently. I'm not sure if he won the Nobel prize or not though, or if he was even nominated. I remember some students from my school making a petition to nominate him, which I obviously signed, but I don't think a lot of people were interested, unfortunately.

Kindles are an incredible invention though. The fact that some extremist book lovers went so far as to use "the smell of books is better" as an argument since each and every one of their other arguments against Kindles can be easily countered proves it.
