And then there's the guy who's utterly unimpressed.

What happens when you let a Newfoundlander on Ellen.. 2 comments

I thought that by Newfoundlander you mean a Newfoundland terrier and expected a cute dog. Needless to say I was slightly dissapointed but this is actually hilarious.
Tesla deserves more respect 15 comments

Firstly, mine had both, and I'm quite sure that OP must've gone to some "special" school if they didn't teach him about Tesla. Secondy, Tesla was a genius, but apparently kind of a dick. I'm not sure what exactly there was but he was certainly against women voting, then he was against uneducated/unintelligent people voting but I actually agree with him there. There were a few other opinions he had that seemed dickish, but I can't recall them right now, so I'm sorry if this comments seems just like random rambling.

Oh, alright. I know too little about Thor in MCU and too much about the real Nordic myths, my bad.
And yeah, I got the pun.

I don't know if I'm not missing someting, but one does not simply open Bifrost. It's a bridge, a rainbow.

Anyone experience this? 15 comments

Hearing my bf breathe when he sleeps next to me is adorable and calming. But people who chew with their mouth open need to be taught a lesson. That's common sense, not a brain disorder.

You already said it and it's still not relevant. 3rd wave feminism is still crap and believing in crap is not gender limited. Stupidity is not gender limited.

Training yourself is different than never experiencing the contagious yawning urge in the first place.

Unless they're a psychopath. For them, yawning is not contagious.
What were some of your favorite books growing up? 53 comments

@yecharon You mean when he talked to the readers? I actually found that very quaint, but then again I read the books I think between 7 and 9 years of age (and unfortunately I never finished them and read only like 4 or 5 of them and skipped over some as they were quite hard to find in my country), so I didn't notice all the mistakes, and I probably won't open them now because it'd ruin the nostalgia. But there were some interesting moments, such as when he covered a whole page with "very"s or wrote a page twice while talking about deja vu.
@elynnated and avengerrox1 Oh yeah, I'm really excited for that. Although I quite liked Jim Carrey in the movie, NPH looks hella awesome as Olaf.

In video games, when you level up, your enemies get stronger. That's normal, and Supernatural has it the same way. And yes, while I admit there's often some Deux ex machina which solves the problem, mostly the solutions are invented by the characters. And often the solution comes with a price, which is quite special.

But...he's a presenter for a kids' show. For that position you need to know about as much science as an elementary school teacher.
Now don't get me wrong, Nye is a cool guy and he realizes how important science is, but I'm not sure if I'd call him a real scientist.

He also thought women shouldn't vote, as well as men below a certain IQ. Genius, yes, but not so much of a great guy.

Holy shit this site is full of feminazis. I got downvoted and I even supported the girl. I guess they won't have enough until the teenage boy's life is ruined.
