A lot of things would be better with less ass-kissing and more honesty, unfortunately a lot of people like having their ass kissed.

Of course, I just don't believe that a restaurant would ever do that. They appease customers in order to maintain some prestige, or at least to get some good reviews. Depends upon how strict the owner is, I guess.

If the annoying customer says he/she's allergic to something just because they don't like it (and there are people like that), they have to purify the kitchen as well.

The problem is, you never know that until they start bitching about their food or whatever. At that point, I think it's impossible to refuse them service. You can have them thrown out if they're being extremely rude, but most restaurants just try to cater to these difficult customers because of profits and possible reviews. So, if they can cater to bitchy people, crying children and the like, why shouldn't they cater to someone who has special needs, but is being quite polite about it?

1) Yes, it's their job.
2) Sure, because every restaurant ever has an online menu where you can see all the ingredients they put in their food.

What makes her different from thousands of other "difficult customers" that make the staff's job harder every day, apart from actually being polite enough to let them know in advance?

Like, okay, I personally don't like people who say "don't put this stuff into my food, I'm allergic to it" when they just don't like it. I know a few people that do this and it's a real dick move cause the staff has to clean all the dishes, pans, utensils etc so they don't leave even a slight trace of it. However, if this Cristy person (I assume it's a she cause of the name?) really is allergic to all that stuff, then I'm sorry for her and I think it's actually a very nice thing of her to make that card. Just because you're heavily allergic to a lot of things doesn't mean you can't enjoy going out for dinner from time to time.

The man can however get sued into paying aliments, if it's 100% sure that he's the father. It's a problem on both sides, but biologically it is indeed more of a women's thing to deal with.

I guess it's a matter of taste, I personally find her and her squad just slightly above average.

lokihasthephonebox, I see your point and indeed, as jamborii said, it is purely a matter of opinion, so I'll put my two cents in. We've already settled abortions in case of rape and foetal damage, but let's also imagine the stereotypical scenario for a woman who got accidentaly pregnant - I'm sure you'll all imagine a teenager who got knocked up at a party, or maybe a junkie who swapped her birth control pills for ectasy. Would you like a child to grow up in these conditions, and later lead a life like its parents? I know I wouldn't, purely for the sake of the child. Sure, you may say that a child is a responsibility, and that they should've been more responsible and pregnancy is their "punishment", and in all other cases I'd agree that one has to bear the burden of his/her choices, but this is a human life we're talking about. More specifically, a horrible life vs a blissful, painless (up to 3rd month or so) death. This is why I think abortions are okay.

Funnily enough Regina wasn't even that hot, just an overconfident bully. This shows that self esteem is a big part of how people see you, because it is a reflection of how you see yourself.
