I think it was, you saw other chicks fix their problems with makeup and so you decided to give it a try, and then later started wearing it on a daily basis. That's how it works for most women I know, even though they usually don't want to admit it. But hey, I tried to boost your self-confidence, and I bet you don't look sick at all, but it seems you prefer the fake confidence boost that makeup gives. Go for it but once you go fake you can never go back.

No, don't tell yourself that. I don't wear makeup, never have, and neither me nor people around me give a fuck. And I'm not the "so pretty she doesn't have to wear makeup" type either. It's all about confidence, you wanna feel pretty so you wear makeup. The problem is that while makeup provides a temporary boost of confidence, it just as well provides a ton of insecurities that come with not wearing it. It's not so bad being pale, I'm pale too, actually my face is naturally paler than the rest of my body because it just doesn't tan so well. But has anyone pointed it out, has anyone cared? No. Literally the only discussion I've ever had about this is with my mother and her only argument as to why I should wear makeup is "all other women do". So fuck this "rule", fuck the peer pressure, and just learn how not to give a shit and you'll be a lot happier + you're gonna get a bit more sleep!

I always thought eating oily foods might make it worse, lady_earth31 proved me wrong as you can see above.
However, working out is not that great for your skin either. On one hand, it helps you get rid of fat and oils in your body and the sweat will clean out your pores. But! Working out increases your testosterone levels which may lead to hormonal acne, also you may tear your pores if you rub sweat off with a towel and that may lead to infection and pimples. So yeah, work out to stay/get in shape, but don't overdo it.
