How exactly did she violate the rules, by citing Martin Luther King's widow? I've seen the clip and nothing in her speech seems violating at all. This whole "impugning the motives" reason just really seems to me like republicans can't handle criticism and need a safe space.
Also, yes, as I already said the rioters are stupid, don't know why you need to parrot that after me.

Man, have you seen the news about republicans banning Elizabeth Warren from giving her opinion in the Senate? The right is turning dangerously authoritarian, and the left is turning dangerously anarchist with the violent protests and riots.

I prefer my thighs big. That's why I work out like hell. Also because I wanna have a nice butt.

@garlog it's pretty hard to get your hands on proper scientific studies as they're often published in paid scientific magazines, so that's the closest I found. Also I think gender dysphoria might be on Wikipedia, if you look in the sources there might be a proper study linked. Glad we agree though.

Now what the SJWs probably mean by the social construct logic is that gender ROLES are a social construct, like the "woman in the kitchen, man at work" stereotype. I can totally get behind that, what you have between your legs shouldn't dictate what you can or cannot do (except for obvious biological things like giving birth). Now do I think that men and women have different natural predispositions, making them naturally good at some things and bad at others? Yeah, sure. But just because you have that predisposition, doesn't automatically mean you will be good or bad at certain things. You might be talented enough to surpass it. Restricting a person from doing something because they have this or that between their legs OR discouraging them because "you'll never be as good as the other gender" (for example the "girls are bad at maths" mantra that is oftentimes repeated at schools, even though recent studies prove that it's not true) is stupid and counterproductive.
Rant over.

https://www.sciencenewsforstudents.org/article/gender-when-body-and-brain-disagree Took me about 5 seconds to google it. Anyway the way I understand it is that sex is determined by chromosomes (and even sex isn't always XX or XY, there are disorders like supermale or superfemale), and gender is determined by the brain. That's why transgenderism is also called gender dysphoria, because your brain thinks/knows that you're a different gender than your body. I personally think that the SJW thought process of "let's make a thousand genders and pronouns" is stupid. It's pretty inconsistent to say that gender is a social construct but it's also determined by your brain. I'm of the opinion that unless a person is transgender (aka diagnosed with gender dysphoria), I will just use whichever pronouns they look like.

Basically everything that would qualify as extremism, sometimes it comes with a dash of trolling too. For example nonsensical generalizations, like all Muslims are literally ISIS, or all right-leaning people are literally Nazis. Also things like all men are pigs, all women are despicable and evil… or just straight up racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic stuff.
It's 11 PM here and I'm very tired so sorry I'm not able to make coherent structures and provide fitting examples but I hope you got the general idea.

The worst kind of people are in my opinion those who say/write something extremely offensive or just straight up dumb and then decide if they were joking or not depending on other people's reaction.

I love that book, but yeah it's weird. I think that becoming a giant roach was the most fitting metaphor on how people stop liking you when you aren't useful to them anymore. Remember, the son was earning money and the rest of the family was just sitting on their butts at home (except for the girl who went to school, I think).

Neoliberalism ≠ SJW. I hate SJWs as much as anyone but saying that all neoliberals are crybaby pussies is like saying all right-leaning people are Nazis. Which is what the SJWs would probably agree with but any rational, left-leaning, liberal person wouldn't.

So, the equivalence is kinda wacky because most of you American users' grandparents really didn't experience segregation (or they did but it was when they were children which means they didn't remember it all that much), BUT racism was still very real many years after segregation legally ended. So, I guess a better equivalence would be "you'd throw a fit when a black person was promoted instead of you"? It doesn't sound as powerful, though.

I think he missed the word "with" in there which is a thing can happen to anyone. But I was asking for him to clarify in case I just misunderstood. No idea why asking a question deserves downvotes but hey, this is fs, some people get butthurt over everything.
I agree. Depends on the location and class/wealth of the people you meet, I suppose.

Followig on that "logic", if she had a job, she wouldn't be out there trying to outsmart the 'marchers'. (I don't like using the word protesters because it has a somewhat violent subtext and I don't know what you call a person who participates in a march cause I'm not a native speaker)

Idk I think that when it comes to pregnancy and stuff around it, a woman has definitely more say in it than a man. Unless that man is a gynecologist.
But when it comes to abortion, forcing a woman to have a baby even if she doesn't want to is equally bad as forcing a man to forever pay child support for a baby he didn't want. Both parties must agree to having a baby, otherwise they should abort it. That way neither party can manipulate the other into giving away their reproductive rights.
Still, the post is pretty funny. I also like that the women in the photo look like they stare at the title in surprise and disbelief.

If it literally only takes one selfie and one daring message for you to become a cheater, then it's definitely not the girl's fault that she didn't trust you and wanted to check.
Personally I would never do this to my bf, but if she had her suspicions, which as you can see were justified, then I can kind of understand why she did it.

Basically elves in WoW have these huge long eyebrows, like in this picture: https://dncache-mauganscorp.netdna-ssl.com/thumbseg/525/525407-bigthumbnail.jpg
And the quote is one of the generic lines of a Blood Elf NPC.
I haven't played WoW since like 2012 but yeah, gaming is life.

Well, physically they can take a pounding (hehe geddit) but yeah they're kinda sensitive when it comes to chemicals. I guess it's kinda the opposite of penises & balls?
And yeah there is a separate ecosystem in there, but then again there are separate ecosystems in almost every organ of our body.
