The thing is, the companies are only looking for profit. Not an abnormal thing, a woman having a kid is not a profitable thing for the company. However, what these companies completely fail to consider is that making sure the human race continues is kinda more important than their own immediate profit. And kids = future workforce. If you tell people not to have kids, or have kids late (some of which may have genetic impairments because of being born to old people, and won't be able to work at all), you're crippling your own future workers. And of course, I have no respect for people who get kids just to get welfare. But if you and your partner have a stable, average paying job and decide to have a kid, the company should provide you with enough time and money to take care of the kid properly before you can put them to daycare. You're possibly raising their future employees, after all.

Telling someone to "please learn some facts before commenting, thank you" is rude and worth being called a bitch for? No, I think you just overreacted and now you're trying to blame me.
Respect is earned, not given. Saying what you did, being completely ignorant about something and blaming me for it, that made me lose respect. I can only imagine Eric Cartman screaming "Respect my AUTHORITAH!" now, so hey at, least you made me laugh, thank you.

Maybe because you started off with a completely false statement and then called me a bitch for correcting you?
Yeah she was married, she divorced her husband years after Macron left the school.
Besides, you're complaining that I couldn't refute it? That's hilarious. So you're telling me that you didn't even google it, and somehow it's my job to correct you on stuff I've already told you to learn something about? Did you even look anything up about them or are you just throwing a hissyfit because I so meanly corrected you? For fuck's sake, I thought this was the internet, not elementary school.
So, I repeat my previous statement, please learn some facts before commenting.

So, ultimately, unless you or your partner has landed an extremely well paying job, you're faced with this choice. You can be the single most responsible person on the planet and you'll still face this conundrum. And of course, men can take care of the children too. If only the "family values" supporters didn't constantly bitch and moan about it breaking the "traditional family" or whatever bullshit they're advocating.

@famousone "You don't have a proper argument" and you do? I have more than enough arguments but that comment shocked me so much I responded the way I did. Lovely how you say "don't put words in his mouth" but then assume things that just aren't true about me. Not hypocritical at all.
"Worked then, works now."
That's what I was quoting. It worked back then, just nevermind human rights and all that silly stuff.
I'm all for individual responsibility. But when a company tells you "you only have enough time to give birth and heal for a bit, otherwise we'll fire you", then there is a problem. As I said, newborns can't take care of themselves. At the same time, a single breadwinner isn't enough to feed a family nowadays. So women have to choose between having a kid early while they're healthy and fertile, but risking financial problems, or having a kid late when the family's stockpiled a bit of money, but risking possible health issues that the mother or the kid could have.

Oh I'm sorry, did I hurt your feelings with FACTS? Did I offend you by telling you to learn about a topic before making a comment on it? Did the truth offend you so much that you had to respond with an ad hominem attack? How very sad.

Are you seriously advocating going back to the 50s mindset and making women stay at home, since they're "so obviously complaining about being treated badly in the workplace?" What the fuck?

Brigitte wasn't either. She was at the same school, yes, but she wasn't HIS teacher. That's what people made up to, I don't know, smear Macron for no reason I guess. And you believed it. Good job. (They actually only met when she directed a school play he was in, she wasn't his regular teacher.)
And it's not like she was some pedo teacher who made advances on him. It was him telling her that once he comes back from uni, he'll marry her. It was him making all the advances.
So please learn some facts before commenting. Thank you.

^ Yeah exactly, women being introduced into the workplace in a position equal to men is a VERY recent thing. And businesses are not helping by making you choose between children and work. It's partly the reason why so many people are having children so late, because first they have to get enough money to afford one family member not working for a while plus taking care of the kid(s). But having children in your 30s is already a risk for your and their health.

Yeah Kathy Griffin's recently been acting like an annoying bitch, but honestly making fun of Macron and his wife is just hypocritical. Not only is this a tabloid type of comment instead of focusing on his policies (from what little I know about him, Molyneux is a Youtube political commentator, right?), most people who make the same joke had absolutely nothing to say about the Trumps, between whom there's the same age difference as between the Macrons. Also, Trump chose Melania because she's good looking. Macron chose Brigitte because she's intelligent (actually one of his top advisors) and has a great personality.
I don't watch Molyneux and I can't form a coherent opinion about him from this tweet alone, maybe he's principled in everything else, but this is just hypocritical and dumb.
And yes I know it's supposed to be a joke. But again, jokes are supposed to be funny.

I get that, what I mean is what do you do after those few sick days end. A newborn can't take care of itself while you're spending 8-12 hours at work.

I'm guessing it's a Naruto reference but I stopped watching a few years ago so I don't quite get it.
In terms of the boob thing, though, yes. It's possible to make your boobies look smaller by wearing a couple sports bras, because boobs are basically 90% squish. (It's science.) But it's very, very uncomfortable. I have a dress that looks really bad when I wear my normal bra, because my boobs make the waistline go way up and the whole shape of the dress gets wacky, so I wear sports bras under it. A lot of other clothes look weird on me too because my boob to waist ratio is too big and so stuff that fits my boobs is too baggy on my waist and vice versa.
You can see it on the lady in the picture as well, the pink sweatshirt (or whatever that is) she's wearing should normally be reaching up to your hips, but it ends at her waist due to boobs.

Who's gonna take care of your kid though? Sick days are cool and all since your lady parts need to heal, but your kid is not just gonna change its diapers.

You don't have paid family leave in the US?
So do they just fire a woman when she becomes pregnant, or do they keep her in the company but not pay her at all…?

Well… if you wear enough sports bras, they can shrink a lot. Mine go from DD to A when I wear two tight sports bras, and no it isn't comfortable at all but if she wanted to do the perfect crime, that's how she could do it.
Edit: Unless her boobs are fake. I imagine that fake boobs don't squish as much because they have silicone in them. I don't know, though, never had 'em.

I don't wear makeup on my selfie (I don't wear it irl either lol) and it was taken after a pretty tough hike up a hill so I'm kinda sweaty on it. Still looks decent though.
