"Tiny brains" yeah good to see how the "big brain" guy here resorts to petty, shallow insults instead of debating and presenting actual ideas.
See the thing is, the guy who invented the format is a programmer, not a linguist. He has no authority whatsoever in dictating how it's pronounced, that's something that should be left to the linguists. And linguistically, whenever there's a word with a G, then a vowel and then an F, the G is hard. For example gaffe, gift, guff. Gift is the closest in terms of pronunciation, and it is pronounced with a hard G. As to what concerns words that have a G-vowel-other consonant besides F and are pronounced with a soft G (like gym, geography, gem), a lot of them (if not all) are of foreign origin (oftentimes Latin), so they don't follow English pronunciation rules.
That's my reasoning anyway. Now do you have a counterargument or are you just going to call me a tiny brain or some other buzzword that makes you feel better about yourself?

Oh no, the gays want to be tolerated and have equal rights? Horrible discriminatory opinions that stem from nothing else but a religious belief and are not backed by empirical evidence are looked down upon? The horror!
(Actually it's hilarious that someone could say something like that and seriously mean it.)

That doesn't even look human. Where is its head? Where does it begin and end?

Literally me today. My teacher is known for being super moody and when he's in a bad mood, no matter how much you studied, he'll ask you an impossible question and kick you out. That's what happened to me and other people today. Funny thing is, a few days ago he let people pass even though they didn't study at all, just because he was in a good mood that day.

This guy has the name of two of my favourite fictional characters – Alistair from Dragon Age and Crowley from Supernatural.
Also hell yeah, Ozzy. I've recently discovered Iron Man by Black Sabbath (don't blame me I was born in '96) and I listen to it all day every day. I also play it on Musiverse (it's like Audiosurf for mobile devices) when I'm bored.

A sleeping mask really helps, at least to me. I normally wake up at 6:30 but with a mask I can sleep till 8 or 9. The first time I put it on I slept till 11 which is probably the first and only time in my life I slept so late. I guess it's because they block the sunlight. I don't know how much they cost because I got mine on an airplane but they're probably pretty cheap.

Oh yeah, I see it now… damn. I knew (most) starfish were carnivorous but biting through shells just like that? Not gonna lie, that information took me by surprise.

Not to mention a lot of oil the US imports comes from Saudi Arabia, one of the most fundamentalist Muslim countries with implemented religious law, gender inequality, disregard for human rights… sure, the wheels of the economy have to spin, but isn't there a better way? People always bring up "the economy" and "jobs" when talking about environmentally friendly matters. But they don't realize that taking care of the environment would actually create a fuckton of jobs that can't be outsourced. But that would mean raising taxes which so many people (especially republicans) fear like a boogeyman.

@creativedragonbaby Oh so NOW you're saying that lions are yellow-ish? After making a comment that them being depicted as white "matches the color of their fur"? After I called you out on it and you said I was racist?
They live in Africa, they should be black. That's it. Factually correct and we don't have to argue about political correctness.

I think crocs are perfect when you go to a beach. They don't get destroyed when they get wet so you can just wash them, if you're on a vacation in a tiny hotel bathroom and you want to clean your shoes and feet at the same time you can just shower in them, you can easily cross a river in them… basically the big advantage is that you don't have to worry about them getting wet, which can be very practical. They're also pretty comfy imo. I wouldn't wear them anywhere else though, there are better looking shoes out there. Then again I think plain black crocs are still more tasteful than some sandals or bedazzled glittery stillettos or sneakers with high heels. Who tf came up with sneakers with high heels?!
Edit: I just went to their website and they sell other shoes besides clogs (aka the sterotypical weird shaped crocs). Some of them are nice, they have flat shoes, flip flops or sandals as well, probably out of the same material. Not bad, actually.

Ha! I was about to write the same but you were faster. If I worked at a coffee place, I'd totally be nerding out at that. I'd even do my best Palpatine impression.

C'mon dude, it's just a typo. I would understand your rage if he wrote something like "defiantly" since it's a completely different word, but this is just a silly typo. So calm your nuts.

That said, the two articles come from two different sources so we can't really blame anyone for this contradiction. (At least I think they're not connected… right? I'm not American so I'm not fully familiar with American news networks)
