Dick jokes aside, is that lettuce under the pineapple? That looks horrendous. If you wanna make a fruit salad, make a goddamn fruit salad! This looks like it tastes like disappointment.

I know this is just personal experience and doesn't reflect reality but I was in fact rejected for being tall multiple times, and told that I'm a giraffe and a yeti (I have kinda big feet). And I don't even think I'm ugly per se, my face is like average. But if dudes feel the need to express their insecurities by insulting girls, then those dudes have some deep issues.

So dudes tend to complain a LOT about women preferring taller guys. But I got my first boyfriend at 18 because all the other guys were like "ew she's tall." In fact I'm still with him now, he's shorter than me and neither of us cares. But overall, guys are just as insecure about dating taller women as women are insecure about dating shorter guys. Just admit it, dudes. Stop pretending it's all women's fault.

In my experience it's the opposite, extroverts can't go one fucking minute without asking "Why are you so quiet?!?!?! Do you never talk?!?!?!?" like bitch if I had a cent for every time I've been asked this dumb question I could buy all the extroverts a common sense.

At the end of the year the nerdy kids will have massive swords and will chase others with their tiny ass daggers yelling "KNOWLEDGE IS POWEEEEEER!"

^Exactly. There's a difference between a nice guy and a "nice guy", if you catch my drift.

Meanwhile at newspaper HQ: "Millennial men are respectful towards women and don't ogle, catcall and harass them as much as previous generations! HOW DO WE MAKE THIS SOUND AS CONDESCENDING AS POSSIBLE?"

Yeah, I told him to stop it with the games he knows and I don't. Recently we played Duck Game against each other, neither of us having experience with it because it's a pretty new game. And I kicked his butt at it.

This is what bothers me about my boyfriend. He always insists on playing versus games with me, games that he's been playing since he was a kid and I never even saw. He doesn't even explain the basic mechanics, just makes me jump headfirst into the game without knowing how to play. Then he laughs and calls me a noob when I lose (I grew up on singleplayer, story-driven games, not multiplayer). I feel like he might be compensating for something when he wants to specifically play games that I have never played.

Hell yeah, I should start watching Buffy, I've only seen a few episodes (the one where they were in a musical was hilarious). But anyway a lot of the monsters in both series are simply taken from various folklores, myths and legends so they will obviously overlap somewhere.

I suppose. I haven't watched Buffy but I read the summary of the episode and it seems that there are a few differences, also this idea could be spun multiple ways. But yeah of course I wouldn't want Supernatural to just copy Buffy's ideas. The question is, where do we draw the line between copying and "Simpsons did it" syndrome?

@adorkable *sigh* Sure, if you want to nitpick. I'm surprised you haven't pointed out that there is no space between the thank and you on the sign. I didn't quote it precisely because I wanted to demonstrate the point more clearly. It still references reception as a go-to point for someone who can't put away their weights. But it already is at reception. Shouldn't it be near the weights? It would make more sense there imo.
@annoyingnerd Yeah, if they had more inside it would probably make sense. Still, someone who just came there to, idk, run on the threadmill has nothing to do with this information.

Ok but shouldn't that sign be near the weights instead of at the reception? Having a sign that says "go to the reception" at the reception just seems a bit redundant to me.

The reason why this fits 54% of dudes is the same reason why NASA unofficially renamed astronauts' pee devices from small, medium and large to extra large, immense, and unbelievable. Ego.

I understand wanting to have more female and minority protagonists in movies, books, series etc. Seeing white dudes as the heroes, women as the useless damsels in distress/hot trophies for the male hero, and minorities as the disposable sidekicks/comic relief does get boring sooner or later, not to mention it perpetuates pretty bad stereotypes which then influence society's perception of itself.
But rebooting movies and just putting women as main characters seems completely unoriginal and unimaginative to me. How about you just write a good movie with female and minority protagonists? Why do you have to copy someone's work and then take credit for it because you included minorities and women? It just seems really lazy and greedy to me.
