You know how people say that couples start looking like each other after a while because they have a specific set of facial expressions that makes them get wrinkles at the same places? I think that's Melania's case, at least she really looks like Trump in that picture. Especially her mouth has the same :I expression

C'mon obviously we know you weren't serious. Still I think he doesn't deserve any kind of punishment other than crappy ratings of the show, which could later lead to its discontinuation. As garlog said the reboot is a mess and I don't think many people would mourn it.

Well that's true but still the worst "crime" here would be shitty writing. Creepy and gross and probably disappointed lots of fans, but not punishable anyhow.

No no, what I meant (and I'm sure that sero meant the same) was that people who were kids in the 90's (aka people born in the mid-late 80's/early 90's) watched these cartoons. The fact that the cartoons themselves are older is irrelevant, what I meant was that they were aired in the 90's (some after many repetitions from the earlier years). And now 90's kids won't shut up about them.

Tip jar strategy 4 comments

An even better strategy would imo be: "on a scale of $1 to $10, how attractive is your date?" people will be constantly tipping $10 because obviously you wanna make your date feel good about themselves

I know, right? I wrote a long ass comment on a similar post that said that old cartoons are better. The comment was about how today's cartoons like Avatar, Gravity Falls, Adventure Time etc. have much deeper plots, better written characters and less copy-paste slapstick and how the OP is just nostalgic. It was really long and ffs I don't wanna type it out or try to find it and paste it here because I've done it a thousand times already. So I'm just gonna agree with you. Some people are just stuck in the 90's.

If it is what it looks like (ie. him just ending the conversation as soon as he found out she has a boyfriend), then Mr T is a fuckboi.
Obviously we can't judge from a couple snaps tho.

I don't have Netflix so I don't know how the profiles work but why would someone use someone else's profile if they have their own?

Cartoons today: deep and enjoyable stories that can be watched by kids and adults alike (Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Avatar: The Last Airbender...)
Cartoons back then: Literal toy commercials.
.
Sorry but please grow out of the nostalgia and open your eyes. Today's cartoons, while being in general the same quality as the old ones, contain some masterpieces that the old generation of cartoons simply doesn't have. Even the most popular old cartoons, some of which are listed in the comment section of this post, were mostly the same slapstick crap. And this is coming from someone who also grew up on older cartoons. You just gotta learn to see past the nostalgia.

1) interesting idea but I'm afraid this could lead to people starting a "proposal race" to get to keep their name. Which could lead to hasty, unstable marriages or even fights.
Though your point about men being expected to propose is valid and should definitely be discussed, because this puts men under pressure of making their proposal "special", but special usually means in front of a crowd which then in turn puts women under pressure to say yes. Remember that Chinese diver who got proposed to after winning a medal? She said yes because she was under pressure from the crowd and cameras but then later changed her mind. This "men must propose" rule is good for nobody.
I like 2) but I like 3) even more. Thinking of a brand new surname could be a good test for the couple plus it could result in some really cool names, and it would give couples more creative freedom than 2) because they wouldn't be limited by their actual names but could still get inspired by them if they wanted.

As a woman I've always felt kind of insulted that taking the man's surname is considered the default position, instead of just taking the nicer one. It's like your identity, your self, is being handed over to someone. You have to change the information in your legal documents, social media accounts, subscription services etc. and learn a new signature, all just because you don't have a penis. The connotation of ownership is especially strong in my language (Czech) and other Slavic languages, because the suffix at the end of a female surname is very similar to (or in other Slavic languages, even the same as) a possessive. So for example the wife of Mr. Johnson would be Mrs. Johnson's. There are some exceptions with surnames that would sound weird if a possessive was added but that's the general rule. So yeah, just take whichever sounds better or keep your own. Don't succumb to the status quo.
