Onion girl 5 comments

I wonder what does one have to do to earn the nickname onion girl. Does she eat a lot of onions? Smell like them? Own an onion farm? Write for The Onion? We'll never know.

Oooh, I have that. Sometimes I even go blind for a few seconds, what the heck. I thought it was just due to low blood pressure.

Ah yes, if only it was a real place.
Anyway you don't have to pay loads of money to even go there. If you read the first couple of pages of Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, you'll feel like you've lived in that cathedral your whole life. The level of detail and vividness in his description of the place is astounding.

oooh okay. I never had any consoles so I can't compare. The PC versions are great imo. Maybe it's the nostalgia speaking but I liked them a lot. I loved their style since the first two games came out before the movies and didn't have them as a point of reference so they made their own style. It was very quaint.

Reminds me of that tweet... "Imagine thinking you're tougher than the fucking Sun"
Also that lady should get a new husband. How in the hell can a meal be too girly? It's food, you need it to survive, it doesn't have gender roles.

I'm fine with sex dolls, really. If someone would actually get a doll because it's "easier than a relationship", it means that person doesn't really value relationships with other people. That person doesn't care about the companionship, the time spent together, the interaction. They just care about sex. By getting a sex doll, these people will not only remove themselves from the gene pool, they will also prevent the emotional harm done to a potential partner of theirs who would sooner or later realize this fact.

Can this be a movie? 12 comments

I'd rather have a movie about the Dyatlov Pass incident. That stuff is creepy as hell.
There is a video game that's loosely based off of it, it's called Kholat. But the creators took artistic licence for a lot of things and there's very little factual information presented in the game.

@celticrose I know what the story is about, just wasn't sure whether that was what the post was referring to. And yes I am absolutely in favor of letting the family go to another country for care. I was just saying that if the care in the UK is this bad, then push for change. But many people (conservatives) don't want to have a good healthcare system because "BUT SOCIALISM! AND VENEZUELA!!!"

Or, you know. If the healthcare in Italy is of a higher quality than whichever country the original tweet is from (I'm guessing Murica), that means that system is superior. In other words, improved.
As far as I know, Italy has a mixed public-private system and it's regarded as one of the best in the world. You wanna decide to go for something worse, just because you have the power to decide? Be my guest, I'm not the one who's then gonna a cry next to a baby sized coffin.

Why make this a gender thing though? I'm pretty sure it's not just men who do this. Most people see problem –> solution as more efficient than problem –> whining and no solution. I get it, sometimes you just wanna vent, we all do. But then maybe the internet which is chock full of strangers and creeps isn't the best place for it.
