He doesn't mean it in a condescending way, his voice just sounds like that. And he always follows up with a hug/kiss and helps me with whatever I'm angry about.
I've known him for 7 years before we even started dating so I think I know quite well whether he's good for me or not.
I know you meant well though so even though I don't agree with it, thank you for the advice nonetheless ^_^

Worcester is pronounced like Wooster. Like rooster but with a W at the beginning. Shire isn't pronounced like the Shire in Middle Earth, but like New Hampshire, so it sounds more like "sure". So the whole thing is pronounced like wooster-sure. It's really easy once you stop trying to force the R and the C in there as many people do.

I don't use a lot of soap though, I usually fill the plates with some water so that the bits of food don't dry up and get stuck, when you do that you need just a tiny bit of soap when you wash them.

Lol my boyfriend is the complete opposite. I'm generally a calm person but everyone gets a tad angry about small things sometimes, like when you accidentally drop something, it feels almost obligatory to let out an "ugh" or a heavy sigh. This is the kind of thing you usually ignore but my boyfriend always goes "callllm down" in this kinda condescending tone which always makes me even more angry.

I don't like getting flowers.
I like flowers when I see them growing in a field or on the side of the road or whatever. But that's where they're supposed to be, y'know? Not cut and slowly dying in a vase.
Besides, what the fuck would I do with a flower? Give me chocolate instead. Or, if you want to give me something to admire, give me an art piece. Yours, preferably. I don't appreciate gifts out of obligation, if you really want to show you care, put some more thought into it than "I'll get her a flower because that's the conventional thing to do". I'd rather receive one gift with some thought put into it than a thousand flowers. That's also why I don't really like celebrating my birthday, or even Christmas I don't enjoy very much. Because it's so much about obligation to give *something* rather than genuine care.
But maybe I'm just weird idk.

Yeah.
Sleeping especially makes people look so cute.
Damn, this post makes me feel like I don't appreciate my bf enough because I constantly nag at him for not helping me with the dishes and stuff.

I was just about to point out the same.
What a life of torture it must be, to see so many cute dogs but not be able to pet them.

Also @guest long comments doesn't equal being angry. I write long comments too but I'm usually calm. I just feel like I need to explain every point to avoid misunderstanding but I, too, often get the "long comment = you're just ranting" response.

I feel called out. I wouldn't say it's because of my gender though, I'm just deeply introverted.

I dislike raw onions too, but I can't imagine a soup without onions. Cooked and blended of course, they make the soup thick without having to add flour.
Overall blender soups are my favourite thing ever. Especially tomato and roasted red pepper soup.

But yeah anyway your point about the "everyone can succeed" mantra being bs is very true as well, that's not how economics works, that's not how the world works.

I agree. Now, I don't mean any offense against him, but Morgan Freeman is famous mainly for his voice. He's famous because of something that was given to him in the "genetic lottery". Meanwhile you can have a person who works ten times as hard who didn't make it because he/she didn't have the same kind of genetic luck. I'm not discounting the hard work he did to get where he is, but I'm sure his voice played a part in his fame as well.
But speaking about black people specifically, there still is a huge racial saturation in most US cities due to the racist history, and the parts which are populated mostly by minorities are heavily underserved, like the education isn't as good as white (rich) areas etc, and in some cases there are safety hazards like lead paint on the walls which is proven to impair people's cognitive function if they're exposed to it for longer amounts of time. So yes statistically it's still more difficult to become successful as a person of color in the US.

Maybe someone else who's using that font made a screenshot of her tweet. Maybe it wasn't her.
It is very much an atrocious font though.
Edit: I used Twitter like twice in my life though so if I'm wrong about how this font thing works, my apologies

That's true, you can't use the same work twice. But if the person in the tweet just put it on their site, does it count as plagiarism? What if they made it specifically for the assignment and liked it so much they also published it online?

Was she like trying to make a point about rape victims or did she do it cause she could? Not that it makes it any less trashy but I guess if she returned the stuff later and said "if it was rape you would be doubted to hell and back" then it'd be some kind of point I guess. Not a very well articulated one but... some kind.
I don't expect any level of social commentary from Cardi B though so I assume she just did it because she's trash.
