Better include an allergy warning otherwise someone's gonna eat them and sue you. Not to mention the choking hazard from the seeds!

Ha ha, good Meatloaf reference. I'm a youngling and I haven't witnesses his career per se but I know him from Rocky Horror Picture Show.
And yeah, that's totally understandable, it takes some getting used to. I like it because (apart from the health benefits of course) you're not cold when you exit the shower, you actually feel warm because the air is warmer than the water on your skin, but I fully understand not wanting to do it. I don't do it when I wash my hair either, because long hair soaked with ice cold water is just the worst thing.

I don't wanna sound like a dirty hippie but unless you sweat a lot throughout the day (because of exercise or if it's hot outside), you can shower once every two days and it's actually healthier for your skin. Stripping it of its natural oils every day isn't healthy either, it dries up your skin and then you have to make up for it with moisturizers and stuff. Especially now in lockdown, if you've spent the whole day in pyjamas working from home and haven't gone out or worked out, it's not necessary to shower every day. If you really insist on showering every day, you can just skip the soap every other day. Also topping off your hot shower with a few seconds of cold water rules and is good for your immune system ^^

Very motivational, reminds me of the Adventure Time quote by Jake: "Sucking at something is the first step towards being good at something."

I can live with that as long as there's justice (and I do mean actual justice, not the self-righteous jerk off witch hunts that were the sad, failed impeachments. In fact throw Clinton in jail as well while you're at it, and Bush and Obama and a ton of other politicians for being war criminals).
A country falling apart because a criminal was convicted of a crime is extremely petty but in the end probably for the best. And that's all I'm gonna say to that, I'm not starting another debate that'll turn into a dogfight.

Omg exactly. It's even better if you don't have anything to do afterwards and can take a nap.

For some reason I read it in the tone of "let's get ready to rumbleeeee" and imagined the music that comes after it. Trump should do that for the 2024 campaign. If he's not in jail by then lol.

It's even funnier if you know who Lin-Manuel Miranda is. Guy's accomplished as hell, if he's feeling like things don't make sense, what are the rest of us supposed to do?

Thank you, I try my best but it sometimes ends up sabotaging my efforts.
I find there's something magical about creating things, whether it's sewing, woodworking, knitting, or even cooking etc. In today's society it feels like a lost art because everyone wants to have a cushy office job nowadays, but making a product out of materials, even if it's just a basic T-shirt, feels wonderful to me, even if most of my "creations" are just thrift flips.
That said your earlier comment about it sometimes being used by lazy people as an excuse is definitely true, I know many people like that.

Oh shit, I could never find the words to describe how I feel until now. I'm not lazy, I just get so mad at myself and demotivated when things don't turn out perfectly. But I will spend hours upon hours sewing or writing or whatever when the right idea gets a hold of me.

This is hilarious. There should also be a "how to draw a weasel" ending up with Mitch McConnell. He looks like a turtle but he's a weasel at heart. Actually comparing Mitch to weasels is mean... to weasels.

Ha, I like your wife then! A practical woman! Yeah, my boyfriend and I can get sickeningly sweet and mushy too. But only when nobody's looking lol.
The prices of vegetables are a lot higher in winter here in Czechia too, but definitely not this high. Growing stuff at home sounds great, I've been thinking about it as well, unfortunately there isn't much space for it in the apartment we're renting but I'm thinking of putting a few planters with chilli peppers on the windowsill. I put chilli in just about everything so it'll come in handy.

I suppose I can't expect everyone to know geography perfectly lol, though I thought Eddie Murphy (and James Earl Jones) in the picture would at least tip people off. It's from a movie from 1988, Coming to America. They are making a sequel which is expected to come out this year, so maybe they will drop in a reference or two to covid.
