Two years of searching for parts, customizing them, assembly, disassembly, paint and assembly have come to a glorious end.

That's depending on how you define being religious. Religion as such doesn't necessarily mean praying and reading the same book all over again, but has many different forms that are basically engraved in our brains.
A very interesting article once stated, that religion revolves around an object of devotion, shared suffering and finally, salvation. Considering these factors, sports fans for example are to be counted as very religious people. They come together every sunday in their temple, singing songs and praising their heroes. A close game is the equivalent to the lord's passion and salvation is experienced in the final goal/touchdown/run that turns the hole thing into a victory.
Car-addicted guys washing their object of devotion every saturday for hours can be seen as religious act.
Religiousness (is that a word?) thus lies in all of us, it is just expressed in different ways for different reasons.

Oh yeah, there is a place near my flat where they're making pulled chicken waffles. That's the first thing served when you get to heaven!

Oh famousone, is it so hard to believe that people are happier elsewhere? And that global health insurance, paid maternity leave, free education, less working hours and high salaries can influence happiness?
I know I might sound redundant, but there are many political and economical systems in place in this world which are scientifically proven superior to the US. Get over it.

Science is not a belief system. It is the expression of man observing nature guided through evidence and facts. It is fine to believe vaccination would turn your child into a werewolf, but believing in this will not change the facts.

Maybe you should spend sometime elsewhere to have a comparism. Right now, you're just one of those persons running around shouting "USA, number one, baby" without wondering "number one in what".
The world has stopped following your lead long time ago, everybody with an open mind can see where this leads to: a widely miseducated nation, where feelings and religious fanatism is set higher than common sense, science and facts, a society with a good lack of solidarity amongst each other, as everybody is just thinking of his own benefits. You're talking about liberty in the country with the highest percentage of inprisonment in the world. You are talking about competition whilst only a good dozen families are really profiting from everything. You are living in a financial feudalism without even recognising it. And stay away from sickness and pregnancy, both can end you for good.
That self-invented USP "Freedom" is available in almost every developped country.
Read a book, man. Travel.
