Was he discouraged by his parents? I know he applied to art school and wasn't admitted. So maybe being told to hit the books instead of focusing on art, thus skipping the rejection stage, this might have been different.

There's a lot of hentai? Real estate in in Japanese cities is expensive. So building vertically is a logical choice.

The Margin of Error would be applied to the Finnish Census. Not to the combination of all censuses put together. This reminds me of r/ShittyAskScience. Funny stuff.

That's how Wal-Mart is. Biggest complaint is the lack of cashiers. They do that on purpose. Don't want to pay the few bucks to hire another person.

I might be wrong but this may have been early in 2012. He was running for re-election. Most people tune out politics until 2 months before the election so if you want to reach them, you need to think outside the box. Plus, considering the prevalence of DVRs, having a guest appearance on a show works better than a commercial, something we're all kind of used to tuning out. Whatever you personally might think about it, it is an effective way to campaign. That's why candidates do it.

Pro Tip - If the comment you're adding is the joke, put it after the image. Chopping it up like this is just weird.
"Nutella discount leads to brawls in French grocery stores"
Interesting.
"We found the one thing the french will fight for"
Ahahahaha.
See, works way better.

That's just asking for trouble. There's debris in space. You don't want some gravity shield grabbing shit to hit against the hull. Sure, it's built to take it but safety precautions should always be taken.

Then the sign is doing the opposite of that. It should say something like "do a backflip"

Huh...not sure why that makes this post noteworthy. I don't get why people highlight shit like this. It makes no sense if you just read the highlighted part, thus making it redundant.

Excellent? Hardly, it was the easiest sell ever. Most blind people can still see, just basic things like light. But it causes them pain and discomfort, hence the need for the glasses.
