Yeah. People act like we're super sensitive today but forget the controversies of the past. I mean, we got hung up on the "sex" scene from Mass Effect 1 (it was just a butt). We can go back further for more stupid. Mortal Kombat's cartoony effects? Night Trap? Seriously, watch Night Trap on youtube and try not to laugh. Yet that was considered too risque. So much so that Congress got involved. Yeah. Things were crazy. If anything, people are less sensitive today than in the past.

I've heard complaints about construction times and delays but never complaints about workers.

Wouldn't this just give away your position? I mean, if you're pointing out someone in your group, you're also drawing attention to yourself.

Except it's not. They're suggesting what you CAN do. What you can't do is control those 100 Corps. I mean, if you could then sure, I'd agree that this would probably be journalistic malpractice

I don't blame him. 2009 was an awful year for us searching for employment. Gotta get some job experience somehow.

Considering that getting a wii at launch in 2006 was nearly impossible, I'm guessing father paid up the ass for one on ebay and mother wasn't happy.

That's what I do with Marvel movies. See the first or second trailer then refrain from all others.

That would be bizarre. Would it be over skype or are teachers going to insist on parents personally attending?

But we'd still have proof of people learning to walk. Not just by tradition, but video evidence, shared on the internet. So unless there's some apocalyptic event that completely erases history, no, we wouldn't.

Except, no, you would need to change it. Listen, I get it. We have a bloated military budget. But we do spend a considerable amount of healthcare and education. And to pretend like we don't, it's just ignorant.

You're missing out While Voyager was more or less similar to past Treks, DS9 was really interesting. I would recommend you at least checking out a few episodes.

I get this is a joke. Haha. But...why would we riot over Goldblum dying? Oh no...he won't be in the next Jurassic Park. How...slightly inconvenient
A small business owner, before and after the Venezuelan crisis 9 comments
felman87 · 5 years ago
To be fair, being a petrol-state with few other exports didn't do Venezuela any favors either. Once the price of oil fell, the country fell with it. Sure, the more socialistic aspects and rampant corruption also had some effect, in essence making the crisis worse, but to say the only lesson to learn from this is "no socialism" is short-sighted. A diverse economy is critical. Like we learn as children, don't put all your eggs in one basket.

I grew up Mormon. Went to BYU-H. Getting married in the temple was one of the things you did to get into Heaven. I remember thinking "Go to college, meet someone. Get married by Junior year and graduate the next year". Well, junior turned into senior which turned into after my internship, which turned into by 2012 which turned into by 2016 and..well, here I am at 30 and nary a prospect in sight. Nothing kills your chances at love in Utah like being an ExMormon.
