Same here. Jesus said to love everyone. Things changed when he arrived.

Religion is like a penis. I mean, it's all good if you happen to have one as long as you don't go around shoving it down other people's throats. The majority of Christians seem nice, but, as is the case for everything, there's always gonna be a few people who go overboard.

That could also be said for atheists as well. The majority of people dwell peacefully in the middle. It is the extremists that create a bad name for any group

exactly! 9/11 was caused by extremist Muslims and the KKK was extremist Christians. But the non-extremes are usually really nice people

I'm part of it. But unfortunately, there's always going to be Christians who don't quite understand the true meaning of practicing the religion :/

Everything but evolution as it directly contracts God's story of creation

I believe in evolution through God. (God created evolution)

That was a perfect response.

Even tho gdawg is correct. Darwins theory of evolution is against most things Christians stand for. I must admit that I agree with the general idea

Okay, I don't care if you believe in evolution or not, but please use the word theory correctly...

They used it correctly they just didn't spell it correctly. But so is religion. Actually gravity is technically a theory but if you met someone who didn't believe in it then I'm sure you'd consider them to be pretty foolish.

Any non-extremist christian, who truly knows what christianity is about, will tell you that it is not a religion. Christianity is a lifestyle :)

Ummm, I don't care how many down votes this gets, but according to the Christians' holy book (The Bible) evolution couldn't have happened.

The seven days of creation actually fit the exact process of evolution surprisingly well and the bible alsi says time in heaven is different than time on earth, so in a way you could say that it was seven days ti heaven, but millions of years in earth.

Yes, but it says that God made man from dust. That means humans could not have evolved from another species.

Please tell me you don't think evolution means humans evolved from monkeys cause it does nit mean that at all. Btw I am a christian.

I know that evolution is just the adaptations of animals to their environment, but that could have only happened in certain aspects. There is no such thing as a day in heaven. There is no time in heaven, so it did mean 7 days on earth, not millions of years.

thank you! most catholics r super chill and loving

Evolution is widely misunderstood. Most people think it means that humans evolved from monkeys or orangutangs or what have you. But this is not the case. If you do bio then you'll understand that we just come from the same 'branch'. And also you can be a christian and believe in evolution. The bible doesn't contradict evolution.

Thank you! So much. Because of that I hate the looks I get when I tell people I'm christian and believe in evolution, then I have to go on this massive explanation that they won't listen to.

I feel you :) I'm a christian, but I believe that God could have made evolution take place. (Like what you said about 7 days in heaven could be a million years on earth)

Im christian and i support gay marriage FULLY. I think science is sososo interesting and while i do believe in adam and eve i believe that evolution came first and THAT was how adam and eve came to be... you just have to have an open mind
balonyman

Ok I don't mean to oppress. But wasn't Adam made from dust ? And Eve made from one of Adam's rib bones ?? I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just saying you would know that (:

Balonyman, you can oppress, because justluvari is totally wrong. It says in the bible that man was made from dust and that homosexuality is wrong. So justluvari, please, don't call yourself a Christian.

I'm one of these. In fact, most Christians are. There's just the few of us that give the rest of us shitty reputations.

Sane thing about bronies. Most are nice, but the few rude and obnoxious ones make all of us seem bad.
