Now, don't shoot the Brit, but is ramen pretty much an American thing? I hear it a lot on US television and films, but I've never really seen it here.

They also have it in Korea and a lot of other Asian countries. It's pretty much the same thing as the American version. It's like a cheap and fast meal. Super bad for you but SO FREAKING GOOD
