FUNFACT: Only 1% of spiders are not venenous (they use their poison to digest food), but most of them are too small, and their fangs can't penetrate the human skin to place poison

I wouldn't consider myself terribly afraid of spiders, but if one is on me out of nowhere, I definitely do that spastic panic dance.

I hate reading about spiders because then I am grossed out and I can feel them on my legs even though nothing is there

Fun fact: tarantulas are actually not spiders, they are a different kind of arachnid. They're only related to spiders like horseshoe crabs or ticks (both also arachnids) are related to spiders.

I have MMMAAAAAJJJJOOOORRRRRR arachnophobia and this really didn't help it

also about the "only 2 bad ones" in north america, the problem isnt with them killing you, its what the venom does to you. brown recluse venom is extremely necrotic (kills off the cells in the bite area) which can affect a person for the rest of their life

No spiders= bug overload
