I had to explain to a woman looking for those pink lego sets, why a girl who wants lego would be happy with the largest possible set no matter the gender. I asked her if the girl in mind wanted 'Girl's Lego', and she said no. I then ranted to her about how placing genders on specific items has only been around since marketing became more popular (with a smile on my face because fuck retail). I then went on to explain how pink, and most other colours, we gender neutral about 100 years ago, and how they still are in many countries where having any western clothes is a bonus.
I think it's that way, because some teas are made with herbs specifically to help women feel better while on their period, while the men's tea is good for...idk man stuff
One person downvoted your comment and that made u take back your opinion and bow down?! Oh my...and that's just over the internet. you better get some cojones or life is going to have its way with you.
I don't like internet fights so I'd rather just relinquish my opinion than have it start anything. I also don't like deleting comments because it drives me crazy not knowing what they said. Also, if you like stereotypes, I'm Canadian.
well how stereotypical! But it wasn't a fight, just someone with a difference of opinion. just so you know i agreed with your first comment. it's a very immature and kinda gross username. Just don't bow down so quick because of one little downvote. "if you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything."
I was actually curious about this and so looked up the ingredients of each tea to see if there was an actual reason as to why they would be gendered.
Men’s tea: ginger, cardamom, licorice, carob, cinnamon, barley malt, roasted chicory, peppermint, fenugreek, fennel, mace, anise, ginseng flowers, astragalus, turmeric root, chili pepper, cinnamon extract (natural flavour), black pepper.
Women’s tea: ginger, cinnamon, orange peel, fennel, chamomile, barley malt, dandelion, black pepper, orange extract (natural flavor), juniper berries, licorice, cardamom, cloves, angelica root extract (natural flavor).
I know from previous research that angelica root is used in some herbal remedies for menstruation, and we know chamomile has been used for soothing nerves. The male tea has has more hot spices (which increases blood flow) and fenugreek (which apparently increases libido).
This translates to: Period Tea, and Boner Tea.
