he might have been under heavy breaks, trying not to skid due to concentrating on not hitting the woman and child, the guy was kinda of walking, if he kept it up and not stopped, he wouldn't have been hit, the driver probably saw this and timed it so he'd pass without incident. lesson is don't change your pattern when crossing the road, same goes with suddenly sprinting, unpredictable behaviour causes accidents
Death is a natural part of life, we don't have to relish in other's deaths, but I highly doubt this guy died. Probably wasn't even badly injured. I was hit by a van at 7 years old going the same speed and all I had was a lot of bruises, cuts, and a chipped tooth.
Don't be sorry... you raised a very important viewpoint. I just wanted to make sure I clarified that I didn't mean to seem like I enjoy death.... even when it's a bad person.
I try to stay philosophical about these sorts of things. If the "victim" didn't care about his safety, who am I to care what happens to him? From that point, I figure I might as well get a good laugh out of his eventual injury/demise, if for no other reason than to try to balance out the mental anguish caused to me by stupid people.
