I like the idea, but I have to admit, some chapters would be a bit boring. Given that OotP is jam-packed with a bunch of quidditch scenes.

It would have absolutely sucked. For two reasons: one, it would have been noted to death and gone completely off the plot. Two: any sense of cohesiveness would have been completely ripped to shreds by executives that know nothing about writing or any other aspect of the creation process bombarding the writers with constant "what if..."
