He's not an asshole to believers - he's just not silent about his non-believing opinions (just as believers are about their beliefs).

You see, believers expressing their beliefs is okay but the other way round is not. Why is that? Because believers say so, that's why.

Yes, he does more than express disbelief - he shares his thoughts on how he disagrees with various religious ideas and practices, and so on... Just like believers are very open with how they view atheists and agnostics, and their how their views are wrong.

Not every atheist tries to prove believers wrong, and not every believer tries to prove atheists wrong. Some people are just a little more extreme
