That doesn't happen very often, though. Not to me, at least. I'm sick and tired of the system that tries to shove information in our heads without any actual connections to each other instead of actually making us learn something. Many people confuse information and education. Some confuse it with wisdom, too.
I struggle with this everyday. I love education, but I don't think I'm getting much out of school. I'm to busy fighting off grade induced panic attacks to glean some real meaning out of what I'm learning.
Exactly. I love learning new things, but the sweet feeling you get when you actually learn something and it suddenly starts making sense? That has never happened to me in school. If I could, I'd learn at least 10 languages, I'd travel around the world, I'd get to know all the cultures. There is so many things I'd love to learn, but school forces me to compromise the things I like and I'm good at to learn things I'll hardly use. I believe everybody has a passion for something. But when you make people compromise their passions and force something they hate to them, they'll grow tired of both.
