*goes through movies multiple times*
.... WHERE THE FUCK IS ATLANTIS AND TREASURE PLANET?!?!
SERIOUSLY AM I THE ONLY ONE OUT THERE WHO LOVES THOSE MOVIES?!?!?!
They're also Disney movies, and in my opinion two of the most underrated Disney movies in existence. I'm not sure if the Atlantis movie is based off a book rather than just the legend of Atlantis, but Treasure Planet was loosely based off of Treasure Island
EDIT: WAIT A SECOND, I JUST REALIZED THAT SAID 'look' not 'sound' GOD DAMMIT, I AM SORRY THAT I AM BLIND, I AM AWAITING MY GLASSES TO COME IN SO THINGS HAVE BEEN REALLY HARD TO READ LATELY
I KNOW RIGHT?!?! It pisses me off so much, Atlantis was going to be Disney's big thing, Kida was all set to be a part of the Disney Princess line up, but then.... The critics attacked... Basically the critics tore Atlantis a new one and pretty much destroyed the movie, which is complete BULLSHIT BECAUSE THE MOVIE WAS F'ING AWESOME. Now if only I could find some more people who liked Treasure Planet...
Its amongst my favorite Disney movies, and I was absolutly obsessed with it when I was just a little boy. I like now how they actually didn't have the leading female get with the leading male, rather the secondary male, and kept their relationship rather subtle... What ticks me off is Disney completely recycled this and used it in wreck it ralf again.
If they keep doing that I might get over it, but considering they've only done this twice, to me it seems like they sat down and said "alright so we had some really great stuff in Treasure Planet, but the movie tanked, so let's take some of those really great things and reuse them in this movie that we think is going to do a lot better and wait and see how people react to our totally 'new' idea" considering after most of my friends saw Wreck it Ralf they kept going on about how cool they though that part of the movie was and how they'd never seen Disney do that before.

That would work if I was a guy. But, sadly, I am not. So...*phases to undisclosed location to watch Disney/Marvel movies alone but invites song since emptyvoid scares me*
I was making a reference to the sherlock movies. *Spoiler* everytime he fought, he would go into a still state and plan out exactly how his fight would go.

Is that what you were doing? I thought you just didn't want to use the Star. And I saw the movies, Robert Downey Jr was the best!
It's not interesting, the villain is, and I quote, "Usela's crazy sister", that is literally all they do to describe her. It is the bottom of the barrel as far as Disney sequels go.
I know that this probably isn't Disney, but has anyone ever heard of Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland? I have it on VHS, I watch it every once in a while; haven't been able to find it on DVD yet.
As much as I agree with you, maisiepants, Secret of NIMH isn't disney, but I see how you'd mistake it because the guy who animated it used to work for Disney. Sorry, I just felt a need to point that out
If it makes you feel better the only reason I know that was because I told my disney obsessed friend that "Secret of NIMH was really freaky for a Disney movie" and they flipped out and went on a rant, long story short I'm now very aware that that movie was made by Don Bluth, not Disney. Funny, this guy had this saying that you could show anything to kids as long as it had a happy ending.... Which explains his other works: Land Before Time, All Dogs go to Heaven, American Tail.... All very very emotionally scarring movies to see as a child.
I completely agree. Same with All Dogs go to Heaven... Though I didn't really fully understand the part where Charlie went to Hell at the time.... And then the most emotionally compromising thing about both those movies, Judith Barisi, the girl who voiced Ducky and Anne Mary, was shot and killed by her own father. When I found out about that it was basically the first time I saw Land Before Time all over again
Same, that movie is what kicked off my dinosaur faze as a kid.
Also I just noticed that I missed a couple words in my initial reply to you which probably made me seem like a dick. Sorry.
Sword in the stone, the aristocats, Oliver and company, lilo and stitch, Alice in wonderland, 101 Dalmatians!!! I <3 the aristocats Oliver and company the most (and lilo and stitch)
I CHOOSE THEM ALL!!!
