The reason for this is because the owners of the company have poured their sweat and blood to build the company because they want to be rich, so they worked their asses off for it. They have no moral obligation to give the employees raises, just because they can easily afford it. If all business was done that way, businesses would not grow into being something huge, with millionaire CEO's. And when a company gets rich and expands, guess what? More jobs for more people.
A few people can earn it, but if they are handed out often, everyone will want a raise, and then people start getting laid off because there isn't enough money to pay everyone. Then, people who work harder will not be properly rewarded for their work.
How hard is this to understand?
That my friend, is up to the guy in charge. And he has his own family along with his employees families. He has to take this all into consideration.
Really, the best thing you can do is work and hope and work harder.
How can that man resist the temptation to just pick up a handful and run like hell? Trip and fall and shove something down his underwear? I don't know? ANYTHING!
