I think these wonderful movies are too short and I even have the 11hour extended edition. :P

Me too. I had a LOTR marathon with my friends and we watched all the extended parts and it was awesome! How can someone dislike it?!

I have friends who hate lotr and the hobbit because they are "too nerdy, geeky, and stupid"... I somehow manage not to kill them every single fucking day (also, I need to mention the fact that they have never seen any of this films, not even a freaking minute of them).

I know they are!! And I already tried to, but they don't want to. And I try not to talk about it with them because if I do, my killer instinct will come out

I've read the majority of the first book, trying to force myself into liking it, but it just really isn't my thing.
