I think the going bottom to top sounded a little more hopeful maybe? It does going top to bottom say there isn't a purpose for living which idk seems kinda depressing to me. But I am biased so that could affect it also. Idk
I don't agree with either, though I don't have a problem with people who do. I think that there is a greater Something, but I don't know what it is. Just felt like expressing my opinion, thanks for listening
Eh, I disagree with this. As an atheist, I do believe we all have a grand meaning or purpose, but it's up to the individual to determine what that purpose is.
I guess what OP (and everyone else who partake in religious debates) means by Atheist is really Humanist (Atheists who not only don't believe that there's no higher power but specifically believe in the individual power of each and every one of us humans, hence the name). An Atheist simply doesn't believe that there's any higher power, so I understand why you'd disagree.
Although I respect Christians and their religion, whoever made this obviously has no idea what atheists think. Not everyone who doesn't believe in God is some sort of a terrible person who thinks they can do something bad without consequence. As an atheist, I can say not all of us are like that.
