No I love Europe. Their health care systems and education systems are far superior to ours in America. And I know geography so I know what each country really is.

I would disagree with saying that the education is better, I'm an American going to secondary school in England right now and the subjects we're learning and how in depth we get in Year 9 (eighth grade) is comparable to what and how I learned in 5th grade.

It all depends on what school you go to

At my school we learn the national curriculum.

Schools all follow the curriculum, but some schools are just better than others. Your quality of education depends upon which you attend, a lot of the time - that's why there are league tables.

It doesn't matter to which school you go, if you want to study you will study. And it's not necessary to go to school for that, you can study being 18 or 58.

We aren't talking about studying, we're talking about the fact that different schools teach different things at different levels of interpretation

I know, I was just saying that although schools teach different stuff, it doesn't matter you don't need to know what they're not teaching, you can do it on your own.

That's half an hour more than going from the top to the bottom of Illinois (it's bigger than it seems) last week we did that to drive from Chicago to New Orleans. And tomorrow.... We drive back :,(

But the thing with Texas is that whichever way you go, it's about 8 hours. Whether it be top to bottom, or side to side.

Actually, I've checked and it's 14 hours north to south, 12 east to west

As a European I know a bit more than "Texas+NY+California", but I agree that Europeans know as much about America as Americans know about Europe.
