Only if they (people against vaccines) don't have a good reason for not taking them. My brother had a reaction to one, so I didn't get that one in case I was allergic, too.
By not allowing yourself to be vaccinated and therefore allowing harmful microbes to fester in your flesh, you let the infection spread to others who are not vaccinated, and cause them to be also infected. This is fine for the people who are immune to this hazard, due to them having a vaccination, but not for infants who are too young for vaccinations or for those who can not be vaccinated to due medical reasons. Giving those people an infection that could kill them is not fair, just because you don't want to be vaccinated.
I wasn't talking about eating meat, I was asking a question. What if you were struck by lightning? Is that dying of a natural cause? Technically, nature killed you.
There is so much more to this argument that a Spongebob poster can't sum up. For example, with my weak immune system I'm not supposed to have live virus vaccinations. Yet I don't tend to infect others around me; it's usually the other way around.
Here we are in the year 2014- Polio is still endemic in parts of the world, pertussis has been responsible for killing infants in the U.S. and Measles has also been making a comeback and in some countries has been responsible for pediatric deaths among the unvaccinated. When we don't vaccinated, we don't just affect ourselves but others in our community. Vaccinating saves lives.

"Natural defense" isn't much different than acquiring "their own immunity". It's the same idea. Exposure to a pathogen ( disease causing microbe ) in a vaccine would be safer because the virus in the vaccine is killed or weakened. Once your body has been exposed to the virus it can produce antibodies specialized to deAl with the specific disease. Becoming exposed to a disease that isn't killed or injured first in a natural environment wouldn't be as safe, because you would get sick before you develop antibodies.
