That's true but there are still celebrities that would let nannies raise their kids and would put their careers before their family. He didn't do that, gotta give him some credit.

Money has nothing to do with this. He values his children and role as their parent above all. Too many look down on spending ones life raising children as "below" having a career. You're not paid so it isn't worth as much as a regular job. But the world and society need more fathers (and mothers) who value their role as a parent. Parents who don't think of raising their children as worthy of their time, have children who know they are not valued.

How old are you, snark? If you're an only parent and lower class, there is no way you can pay the bills n stay at home at the same time. you'd end up homeless. doesn't work that way in real life. kayray is right tho...he could have let a nanny do it (bc he can afford one) but he didn't.

28, and i do work, i support both my children myself, my ex husband chooses not to see them or pay child support. I'm lucky because i can work from home 50% of the time, and don't have the cost of babysitters or daycare to worry about. I'm lucky i have an education and skills that allow this. I could make more money at a different job, but then i would have to pay someone else to raise my children, and i hold the role as parent as the most important and most deserving of my time. My point is not to say that single parents who have to work to support their children and don't have the choice to see them are somehow uncaring. Those parents do whatever they can with what they have and the situation they are in. My point is about attitude towards parents/caregivers, and those that think they are better than them because they are paid. No success outside the home can make up for failure in the home. If a parent has a choice to be with their family, and chooses anything else, they're selfish
