I played rugby with boys as a kid and i'm a girl. Rugby is very popular in South Africa and Australia.

American Football has much more impact on the human body than Rugby. Sure, Rugby has no pads, but American Football has over 4,800 lbs of force compared to 1,700 lbs of force from a Rugby player. Both sports involve heavy contact so it's not to be played by a sissy, so Mr. Clarkson stay in the safety of your car.
