OMG no!

In high school, math literally has sin in it.

I was doing my math homework and I was thinking about this post (I saw it a long time ago no complaints) and then literally just after I finished my homework I saw this post and woah

the high school math I was doing in middle school

First, math has numbers. Then you add the English alphabet. Then you add the Greek alphabet. Then you add a whole new set of crazy symbols. Then you take away the numbers.

Then in chemical engineering at least, they get rid of all symbols and just leave the units...then we have to create our own formulas based on our understanding our how each unit is actually affecting the given problem. It was NOT fun, but it does give a very good theoretical understanding of how famous scientists came up with all the equations/formulas we use today.

in physics the only numbers are the numbers of the page of the textbook =)
