The game can still be won without the queen. I, personally, prefer saving my knights.

The queens don't have the higher value, the king is still the most important piece on the board, all the other pieces have to protect him, including the queen.

It doesn't bother me; it's based on the old government system the queen was less powerful than the king in the government. It used to go that way and the game is based on that. It's easey to remember, that's all that effects me. And now the queen and king being like that is traditional.

Don't get me wrong I'm a feminist. But I believe all people are equal and should be treated that way, I'm not here to talk your ear off about something as insignificant as this. The fact that the queen is a less powerful card is based on history. That's how government worked back then. It is based on HISTORY. It happenED and has nothing to do with the treatment and rights of human beings today. It's a game, not a civil injustice.

You'd be surprised...*sighs* Nazi fems. They are rather defensive/aggressive against people that are apparently 'delusional' and 'fantasizing' about males, females, transgendered etc being all equal. Maybe they are subconsciously talking about themselves?
