Or perhaps the flag touched the ground. After all, it is a stated law that, should the American flag touch the ground, it must be burned. Not enforced, aye, but still a law.
yeah call me racist but based on the context clues I'm pretty sure that is just a mass of islamic extremists burning american flags out of spite. I might be crazy but I'm pretty sure that's NOT how you're supposed to burn a flag.

I'm so glad you said Islamic EXTREMISTS. Because that's exactly what they are, EXTREME. Not a representation of every muslim out there, whose very lifestyle revolves around peace, love and unity in praise of our Creator. I hate that this is how the world sees us. This horrible cruel distorted view. On the one hand yes the Americans are wrong in destroying the innocent civilians and families of these Men, in that way America is a terrorist country. But you CANNOT retaliate in kind. This act causes all the more death and violence. We are people of peace and we have evolved from the times of our prophet.
Basically? Stop acting like damn vikings, the lot of you. Stop killing innocents on all fronts. Just sit and rationally discuss what's wrong and fix it. No amount of death is going to cure this. Get out of the past, leave the wars. You are educated, rational beings. Those in power get over your damn pride or whatever the problem in communication is and sort this crap out.
The world sees us like this because of the way the media has portrayed us. After all, the world needs an enemy. This is evident if one looks back in history. I do however, believe that despite Islam being a religion of peace, their reactions to the brutality of America are not completely unwarranted. After all, would it not be the same with any other group of people, including America? If someone entered your home and killed your family, would you not fight to stop them? Sitting passively on the sidelines is not something that one would normally do. They are the victims. I agree, no amount of death will cure this, but this is an agreement that will only work with both sides cooperating. Islam is a religion of peace, and one that encourages the good, despite many misconceptions.
Are these the same Islamic countries that brought you things like algebra, some trignometric rules, surgical tools and the medical encyclopedia? Or are we talking about different ones here, because I am intrigued to know what you think you are talking about when you say intelligence is rare.
Just because you burn an American flag doesn't make you a terrorist. I hate how people will generalize that just because your religion is Islam they think you're a terrorist. If you actually took time to take time and learn about the religion, you would see they are not bad people. Look up The Five pillars of Islam and you would see how good they are. I am not even Islamic hang it infuriates me when people make dumb generalisations about Islam .
I don't know how some people can be so ignorant(no offense to your dad) about something most of the time they now nothing about. They only believe what the media say towards a certain subject and they don't take time to learn the facts and just go about making irrational generalizations.
No apology needed. I'm constantly shocked that my sisters and I all turned out the way we did. And I don't know when my dad became the bitter, xenophobic, homophobic, old man.
You refer to your father as an "old man" considering that he might have grown up in a more conservative generation and cultural it might justify in part why he is like that. See I was born in 2000 so I was really never around people who have so much h
*sorry accidentally pressed the post button* anyway as I was saying... I never really saw a lot of hatred towards someone, now I am not saying there is no more racism in the world but I grew up with a very open minded community and I accept people I don't discriminate them either I live in a very diverse place and I get really mad when people say something racist or homophobic and they mean it.
He actually didn't grow up in a conservative family (he's white and my mom is black, and no one had any issues with that). It's just that since retiring from the military, he sits at home listening to talk radio all morning, watches Fox News all night, and believes 99% of what he hears. He hasn't always been this way.
wow. Its so sad to read the comments that were removed from this post, but the down votes and replies were perfect. All hope for humanity is not lost. To the moron who said bomb mecca, your level of ignorance is bloody astonishing. People like you, are why the world is so fuvked up today.
Quit it with the Islamic/race/religion debates people! I think the point of the post is saying I don't care what your "reasoning" is don't bash America and defile a national symbol. If someone did it for another country I would call them an asshole too
Want for your brother what you want for yourself. Just as you would not wish harm to come to a place sacred to you, do not wish it upon others either. Have you no idea of the injustice in this world? Why on earth would any sane person with half an idea about current world affairs want to inflict any more pain?

Mainly because of reactions such as coldcoffee's. I as a normal everyday muslim am tempted to insult you. If the Kabah or Makkah or even Masjid al Aqsa was to be destroyed, quite simply? There'd be all out war. The possible repercussions.... I sincerely hope no-one is desperate enough to test the theory out...
