Well actually most snakes are really stupid, so all the time they spent being "nice" to you is actually figuring out how to eat you. Some random guy in my family had a tiny pet snake that was always nice to him until one day, then he took it to the vet or whatever and they told him. It actually happens a lot

My cousin's friend had a small snake that would always escape his cage and lie next to her on her bed in a perfectly straight line. She thought it was cute, until one day when she was at the vet she told them about it and they told her to get rid of the snake because it was measuring itself to see how big it would have to be to EAT her!
