Modesty is a subjective thing- what is modest to you may not be modest to me. Also when we say girls (for the sake of argument and society, them only) HAVE to be modest, we should think of why we are saying that. What does it mean to a girl who does not conform to the definition we have of modesty? Is she less deserving of respect? Is her body more sexualized? Is she "asking for it?" Why do we think that way?

Modesty is just how someone else tells you to dress. Dress how you want, and let the haters hash it out for themselves.
