Not all rap is bad for example Snoop Dog and Eminen. They are really ducking good, but I do miss old school rap like Tupac, Biggie, Eazy-E and Warren G and a lot of other rappers that are mostly all dead. :(
I love country. Real country. But unfortunately real country music went extinct a long time ago. Anybody who thinks the same should check out the song 'murder on music row' by alan jackson and george strait.
Don't really see what the big deal is. Every genre of music has things that regularly show up. They have a similar feel, thats kinda what defines it as a genre. Doesn't mean every single song ever for that genre will have all of those things in it, also doesn't mean that just because it has some of those things its automatically a bad song. For every country song about beer and trucks, theres a pop song that repeats baby and oooh or goin to da club, and a rap song that sings about getting laid and making money or shooting somebody. To label any of of em as "oh they are all the same" and then go on to say how awesome X genre is, is just stupid.
While a good portion of country songs can fall into one of these categories, I must ask why the fuck you care. If you think its shity music then dont listen to it. Let me enjoy my cold beer while sitting on my porch listening to some relaxing country music in peace. I dont usually listen to music, but country resonates with me a bit so I do enjoy it from time to time.
All the same? Really? "Where were you?"-Alan Jackson, "Concrete Angel"-Martina McBride, "Mr.Mom"-Lonestar, and "If you're reading this"-Tim McGraw are all the same? I understand not likeing a genre and you are entitled to that opinion, but to say that all of it is the same is seemingly ignorant. While it is true that all country music has a similar feel to it, this is true for all genres. In fact you might even go so far as to say that it is what defines a genre.
