This is a legitimate question I am asking because I hate being ignorant, and I acknowledge that I am... How do you know you are actually a man, and not just a female with a traditionally masculine personality? I'm not questioning that you are, just curious. I apologize if this is an awkward or unanswerable question.
I know that, I've just never had a strong understanding of gender identity and I've seen you be open in the past about yours. Thank you very much for your time, though (I know the last thing you want to do is deal with anonymous questions on the internet).
I'm sorry! I misread your question!
How do I know? Hm.. That's actually a very difficult question to answer, and it's generally advised you don't ask transgender people that question. How do you know what gender you are? Your parts aren't a valid answer, because even if said parts are removed, you'd still be that gender, right?
That's good food for thought... And no worries, I understand why you might have misread/misinterpreted my question (people can be very close minded and I'm sure you've seen WAY too many rude people). Thank you again for your time!
You're welcome. And I didn't think you were being rude, I'm just used to having to give that explanation. I missed a few words when I read that the first time.
i knew she was a comedian, but i wasn't sure if she was joking. i'm pretty sure i understand what the base issue is, but why don't you tell me anyways

Basically (and I really am summarising, so I apologise if I misrepresent or explain anything poorly):
Sex and gender are two different things - sex is strictly biological, and concerns the physical parts you were born with (boobs, balls, etc.). Gender is how you identify and express yourself - so gender concerns the cognitive and social aspects of a person.
As sex and gender are not the same thing, it is possible for them to be different to one another - therefore, some people may be born a female but feel they're a male, or vice versa.
I was born in the body of a female with the mind of a male. My brain is shaped the way a man's brain is. I'm no less a man than any other. You are more than your parts. You are more than your chromosomes. A girl was born with the chromosomes XY. Her body couldn't use testosterone, so she developed as a female. Is she any less a girl because of her chromosomes? Suppose a man's penis is cut off in an accident. Is he any less a man for that accident? Our parts don't define us. Our brains do. My brain identifies me as a man. Not a woman.
Sex and gender are two different things. Sex is your biological designation (male-female) as determined by your genetics, while gender is your social designation (boy-girl, man-woman). You can biologically be a male while gender-identifying as a woman. Oh, and genitals don't always match up with sex chromosomes. Nature screws that up sometimes. PLEASE LEEANN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO AND USE THEM APPROPRIATELY!!!
Dont get me wrong, this is a very awesome line of thinking, but idk if I could do this. Sometimes we just have to accept a boy is a boy and a girl is a girl. Of course I would support my child regardless of what they decide in life.
Listen here people YOU don't pick gender you get alloyed your genetics by sheer random chance, your twisted shitty social justice bullshit is so fucking stupid it pisses me off. You are a man if you have a penis and a female if you have female sex organs. The "sheer will of my mind" doesn't make me a woman my uterus and the other female sex organs within me make me a female which is all determined by genetic information.
YOU are not a gender. You are not your body. You are just wearing this meat suit. You exist outside all of this "twisted shitty social justice bullshit". You, infact, cary the energy of both male and female essence within your meat suit. You, don't really have any right to tell people that what you have come up as "right" within your narrow mind, is true for everyone's experience of reality.
Don't speak of things you know nothing about, guest. I am not a woman. I am a man. As much as any other. A person is more than the parts they are born with. I didn't choose my gender OR my sex. I was born with both and sadly, they don't match.
The reason why I say such "narrow minded things" is that I have a masters degree in molecular biology the study of DNA your illusory and naive description of a meat suit is so far fetched and frankly stupid I laughed when I read it. People in today's society don't understand that you cant always get what you want so suck it up and live with it. And I love the use of the phrase "narrow minded" because when people have conflicting view points the one less socially progressive is the narrow minded one.
Having any degree of intellect doesn't mean you can't choose who you want to be. Biology has nothing to do with it; it is in the eye of the beholder of having the rights of choice.

I see. So your degree has also come with an inflated ego, self-righteousness, judgment, and ignorance. Meat suit- a physical structure in a 3D reality, comprised of mostly empty space, oscillating at a very low frequency so that we can perceive life in said 3D reality, housing (up until now) only a small fraction of our Soul's energy otherwise blowing our circuits. This coming from a field that has believed that the unactivated DNA is "junk". The forerunners of your field are finally acknowledging that humans are mutating, due to an evolutionary shift in vibration moving through the photon belt and documented by the Schumann resonance in the planet, with the potential of humans embodying 12 strands of DNA. The implications of this are at this time uncertain. There is so much about the true nature of humans and reality that is yet to be discovered, that to make the claims you make are ignorant and yes, narrow minded.

Humanity is currently undergoing an evolution, of consciousness. Evolution, that thing we've done since the dawn of time. Those of us who are not bound by the false reality propagated by those who wish for humanity not to awaken, are realizing through our own first hand experience, that you may not want to believe everything you've been taught. You may want to expand your mind and begin to question things. You may want to humble yourself and realize that there are things you don't understand. It is a fool who thinks they know everything. You cannot possibly tell another being that they are full of shit because you have a degree that came from an institution that bases everything it knows from what can be perceived using only the physical senses. You are trapped inside a box that has been placed upon you.

Throwing your degree around is not helping you when Russian scientists have recently discovered that DNA can be changed\reprogrammed through "sheer will of the mind" and not just gene splicing. I would expect someone of your learnt abilities to know that. That means that our consciousness has an immense and direct impact on our DNA, genes, bodies, and reality.
Just thought I'd interject something. I doubt a lot of the things you just said. Not even because you've been rude in stating your opinion or the fact that you claim to have a masters degree in molecular biology only after your opinion is questioned. I doubt this because you are a guest who probably already has a profile but decided to remain anonymous for "reasons". This makes me doubt your belief in your own opinion.
Yeah because God didn't already decide that.. & as if the world isn't hard enough for kids these days, make it that much harder - so much stupidity- brain hurts.
