Woooohhh New Zealand!
Seriously though, on the internet I hear all this stuff about people being homophobic and it's hard for me to imagine, because I've never seen it happen in real life.
I'm already here. It's mostly just the hardcore christians and rednecks who are like that... which is like 1/4 of the population. Slowly but surely we'll get rid of em.
I don't think you understood. I meant we'll slowly get rid of the intolerance that some people feel is necessary to express in very extreme ways. If you DO believe that then fine. Keep it to your damn self. People here tend to look the other way when a well deserved ass whooping is issued to those bigots.
Ji is right. So tired of you militant gays saying that anybody us free to be themselves but only if you are gay or outwardly vocal for gay rights. The thought of two dudes going at it turns my stomach but that us their right and I will not tread on them. It is my right to feel that way so leave me the hell alone. The militant gays turn people off to the whole lot of you.
I was raised by my mum and the women she dated, had tea parties with drag queens, went to my first pride parade at 9, and went to a highschool with a gay principal, several gay teachers, and a handful of transgender students. Homophobia is so foreign to me that for a long time I thought it only existed on TV
As somebody with a lesbian principal, several gay teachers, a prime minister that participates in drag competitions and the thankful ability to have never heard a homophobic comment outside of the internet or on TV, I can say that I truly hope it comes sooner rather than later; it's a good feeling to know that my country is pro LGBT and I hope other people from other countries will be able to feel that pride as well.
