Btw I totally agree with this. Seems like we are so caught up with looks and beauty for both genders that we hold those qualities deemed "beautiful" high above other qualities, like COMMON SENSE
people like to forget that we have evolved to like beauty. maybe it's unfair and not objective, but we're hard wired to link attractiveness with good genes
But beauty depends on culture. In some tribes the bigger the better, or accessories/ body modification is beauty. So yeah we are all attracted to beauty but it is also dictated by culture/ society
This was said by no girl ever. Seriously, do you guys think we're that hypocritical? Looks matter to us as much as they do to you, and we are to be dissed for it? I'm so damn sick and tired of guys being like this. Do you think this doesn't happen to girls as well? Let me tell you a story: I'm a 17 year old girl, average looking. I like this guy in my class who's a nerd and a bit of a weirdo. I like him because whenever I talk to him, we understand each other as we're both kinda weird. Whenever I talk to him, I feel relaxed and the conversation flows naturally, because I don't have to watch my every word in order to seem "normal". Yet, he likes the popular girl in school and will probably never accept anything else than perfection. The moral of the story? You fuckers set high standards and then cry like little bitches when they're not fulfilled, but then refuse to accept that someone who's not perfectly fitting your weird little fantasies might not be bad either. We get friendzoned too
