although it is recognised more in countries that call it football, it is also known as soccer, such as american football is grid iron and Australian football is Aussie rules. not to forget rugby is also known as football as well
Well sorry if I don't have another name for it, since English is not my first language and the only people I ever talk to call soccer "football" and they suggested calling American football "hand egg" after we all saw it on the internet. And don't question my originality hun.
American football doesn't make sense. They don't even use a ball, they use an egg shaped sort of thing, and they don't even use their feet. "Soccer" being named football makes PERFECT sense because they're using an actual ball and the whole game consists of mainly using their feet.
I'd like to point out: I love how here in Canada, we have the Fifa World Cup commemorative Coke cans and various Fifa related Merchandise... When Canada isn't in Fifa. :| logic
