How ingrown toenails happen

I had one once, had to get it cut out though, even took a picture

I find this funny cuz my friend told me he just got his removed finally

I use to get those all the time as a kid, took those bitches out myself

My Dad had one he ignored it for a couple of months and one day complained of foot pain so he went to the Doctor. They had to surgically remove his whole toe nail. Luckily it grew back and he didn't have to stay in the hospital over night or anything. The doctor even told him if he would of just clipped his nail when it started it wouldn't of gotten so bad. But my Dad thinks if it isn't killing you why bother. lol

Cut your toenails straight across. Not at an arch. Because the corners will grow into the skin. Best advice I ever got and it fixed the problem.

My great-great-uncle was using a razor blade to cut out his ingrown toenail, sliced his skin and died a week later from gangrene. My grandma would always tell me this when ever I used a knife (never on my toes).
