Introducing water to guinea pigs

I have a guinea pig, he likes to swim circles in the bath tub :)

Slowly my butt! I had a guinea pig that liked to escape it's cage. If you are taking a bath, she some how knew. She would escape her cage, squeeze under the bathroom door, and dive in the tub. She will do circles in the tub till you fish her out. And you couldn't just take her out she jump back in. You had to go lock her back up and put her cage in a bigger cage. I can not tell you how many times I had to take her from my Mom or brothers lol.

I tried putting my guinea pig in water. To this day, if he hears a running faucet or even goes near a bathroom, he freaks out.

Guinea pigs are NOT natural born swimmers. When you see your piggy swimming, it is swimming for its life, & panicking. This is a cruel & inhumane practice. Wonder how many humans got a kick out of this.

guinea pigs also do NOT naturally lie on their backs. That position alone would panic a guinea pig.

I have three guinea pigs and need to wash them. What shampoo should I use

How the world do they swim??!!

I use natural baby shampoo when I wash my pigs but avoid the face when using shampoo just use water on their face with a face washer

It's NOT okay to treat a guinea pig like this. They ARE NOT swimmer!!! Please keep them out of the water!!
