We really don't mind lol. If it comes down to to helping someone out with yard work, cleaning, etc, and continuing walking around getting doors slammed in their faces most Missionaries will take the yard work XD.

Honestly, I find the idea of missionary work to be offensive (how dare someone try to change someone else's religious beliefs), but if it's community service, that's okay. The church looks much better sending people out to help others rather than trying to force a conversion.

We don't "force" people to convert. We will invite you to come to church or ask you if you want to listen to what we have to say, and if you say no we will leave and that's it. If a missionary pair is trying to "force" you to convert then they have most likely "gone rogue." If you have a pair who is being overly pushy or rude or keeps coming back after you've asked them to stop then give a call to their District Leader.

I think you misunderstood what I said. I was saying that it sounds like what you're doing is not forcing, but rather leading by example and having conversations.

I wonder if they converted her or if she said no thanks at the end.

LDS Missionaries do service every day even if somebody isn't interested in their church. That's what they do, serve.

Once I remember them come door knocking, they we so polite and kept offering to help. I still remember one of them saying "We'll mow your lawn", we didn't accept though, but it was a nice gesture.
