It's not the dog's fault, it's the owner's.

I'm not saying it's all of them, and it is by no means their fault, but - due to human breeding for our own purposes - some breeds are more prone to violent behaviour than others (such as the pitbull).

The pitbull, like all bully breeds, are protective of owner and territory. It is up to the owner to train that out of them, mostly through socialization. My boxer is insanely suspicious of new people; until she sees us being friendly, she'll circle that person and act protective. After that, she's a cuddle bug.

Although this can be true, and people say it's up to the owners training it isn't 100% true. There a so many dog attacks every year and you know what is the first thing every owner says? "They've never acted like this before", some breeds have it in their blood and can just one day snap usually attacking people often out of jealousy.

It's not jealously, it's the dog being territorial or taking responsibility of being the pack leader. Lots of dogs don't know their place in the pack but over time will develop a pack leader mentality as they get coddled and babed . That's when start to bite.

Yes true, I just said jealousy when referring to the many dog attacks on young children. Dogs will get used to being the centre of attention and if there is a young childaround they may get jealous
