In the Thai & Laos language they use the word shell instead of skin for fruit and veggies including potato, so I am assuming that probably all Sanskrit based languages do also. So Ken M was not incorrect about the potato shells. Also he proved his point stating potato is Latin for king of peanuts and that peanuts have shells not skin. He is obviously more educated than the other imbeciles who are not bilingual / multilingual and think they are correct in their narrow world view just because English speakers say potato skin.
Sincerely, a Latin student.
Seriously go to google translate and go from latin to english and type potato in latin side.
