To be honest, I don't like Kit as Jon that much either. I don't doubt his acting abilities or anything, but when I read the books I imagined Jon completely differently. But that's actually the deal of most GoT characters. Their looks were just described a lot differently in the books. The only ones I found accurate are Tyrion (even though one of his eyes is supposed to be black) and Eddard (which is because I saw the "Winter is coming" post before starting to read the books and I think Sean Bean was pretty good for the role)

Tyrion is actually really ugly in the books and when (SPOILER) his face got cut with an axe in the book he ended up even more ugly because most of his nose was gone.
Oh. I hadn't got there yet, but yeah, he is. Tyrion is decribed as ugly, but I think that the genes that dwarves have make their faces look sorta similar (I don't want to sound racist or something but it's the truth, it's the same with people with Down syndrome; it's the genetics) so he couldn't have looked much differently. Though I must admit Tyrion played by Peter Dinklage looks surprisingly handsome, I think that he's also described and viewed by other characters as ugly mostly because he's a dwarf, which is why I have no trouble imagining him as the series character when I read the books.
I love the Fall Out Boy one. "My only question about the FOB reunion is, is Pete Wentz still a tw*t?" And they all nod (including Pete). Fucking love those guys.
