He plays a southern guy. In the south the R is drawn out. So it's actually pretty accurate. Especially for a British actor, which I've heard is one of the hardest transitions, British accent to southern accent.

yea chuck bass does a great job from gossip girl. except he doesnt do a southern accent, just normal american
