We still have bagged milk in India. Bagged water is alien concept to me. Having said that, I've had bagged coconut water...

I read that in Mexico it's only used for aid programs.

Maybe they give them in aid programs, but not only. I see them at the store all the time!

In Germany, there are only very few people buying their milk in any other way than bagged.

Are you kidding me? I don't know a single person buying bagged milk. The stores don't even have bagged milk. That has been a thing in the 90s here but they don't sell milk that way anymore. Maybe you're from a really special area in Germany but I can assure you most Germans do not buy their milk bagged. It really is a strange concept.

This is definitly not a thing here in Sweden, so I truthfully don't understand how you open them without it going absolutely everywhere

As long as i know (which is not much because my family doesn't usually buy it) you need a special plastic thingy to keep it vertical on the fridge, and when it's outside it, you have to hold it at all times

sounds like a lot of work just to use some milk .p.

There's a bag container that the milk gets held in and you pour it while in that container. Would you like a picture

When we used to have these where i live they'd pop the bag into a pitcher and then cut the corner of the bag. Then pour when you want milk.

Why does bagged milk exist? Why can't you just use it from a carton?

Bagged milk is cheaper
